Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Gert and Malgo were quite surprised that we had sailed to America. I'm not overly fond of flying, though it has to be done sometimes, but this was the most amazing way to travel to America.

The facilities were unbelievable: library, cinema, planetarium, bars, restaurants, cafes; you could even enrol on courses for languages, art, computing, chess, bridge, etc. There were shops but they weren't of great interest to us.

Or you could just stand/sit and watch the ocean!
Occasionally there would be sightings of dolphins or whales, but these were infrequent.

This photograph captures how I felt about the Atlantic Ocean - vast and wild!

It is difficult to assign a country as we were in the middle of the ocean but, I have estimated that we were nearer America, therefore nearer New York than Southampton.

Thank you for your interest, Bev:-)

P.S. I actually uploaded the wrong photograph.
This was processed many years ago but I did a new pp with a later copy of PSE. I will load it as a workshop, just for your interest.
