Photographer's Note

I feel the technical side of photography is not always the main focus. Sometimes life can be full of surprises. This view was that kind of surprise. A normal day on the Atlantic in Florida. It takes on a life of it's own. I tried to capture the magical feel here on a bright sunny day. The yellow filter created the magic after a panoramic crop. I guess it is the way of the heart.

hello Jimmuyjimmy, One can really appreciate the calmness after what you have experienced earlier with Dorian. Interesting idea with this filter.Nice wide panorama. The view of the other side is very sharp, in the FG, lovely blurred figures with their activity. well done.

I'll be completely honest, I'm not a big fan of these coloured filters, same with the dark orange smokey tobacco filter. but that's the beauty about photography, its so subjective. what I do like are the strong silhouettes and most of all the industrial subjects in the far upper bg. and hey, its a very unique scene, we don't see shots like this on TE, so that's pretty cool :) cheers

You have stretched the exposure to the limit but It's a brave attempt though and that's how the warm filter works to good effect you wanted to show. The silhouetted figs add live and lead you into the drama. Excellent click.

Hi Jimmy,
amazing impression from the beach having such a lovely name.
In fact the cocoa color seems to be the main color together with the yellow/white.
The sea looks amazing with all the bright sparkles and reflexes.
People walking around add do much life and interest especially those carrying the surf boards.
