Photographer's Note

This is the famous jewelry store Tiffany's, decked out with its holiday decorations. This luxury store on the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 57th Street has been selling jewelry, perfume, watches, and other accessories since 1837, and has been in this particular building since 1940.

As many of you probably know, this store is featured in the title of Truman Capotes novella Breakfast at Tiffanys, and in the movie of the same name from 1961 starring Audrey Hepburn. There is now a caf on the fourth floor of Tiffanys called Blue Box Caf, and it is actually possible to have breakfast there. :-) Ive read that reservations are really difficult to get, though

Wishing you all a beautiful new year! :-)
