Hello all,
another view of the San Juan Mountains from the Double RL Ranch. The light was special that day illuminating the fields but casting shadows on the low hills in the center. Another 15 minutes later and the light changed completely as the sun went behind the clouds.
The Double RL Ranch, just outside of Ridgeway, Colorado is a 17,000 acre working ranch owned by designer Ralph Lauren. The fence surrounding the ranch spans 30 miles. One cannot see the ranch house itself from the road but one can see the collection of 5 teepees he has from the road. I wished I would have taken a photo of those. So interesting to see. Oprah was invited to tour his ranch in 2011 for anyone interested to see what it looks like.
This photo was taken in the late afternoon.

Belle ambiance, un paysage bien rendu qui fait rкver.

This is a superb moutain landscape , with many beautiful layers . But waht is the most impressive here is the contrast of lighting . I like a lot the effect of the round balls in the fields .

Intriguing view of the Double RL Ranch for the bright yellow/green foreground with numerous bales of hay, the dark mid range, and then the dramatic snow covered Rockies.

This is a stunning photo, a beautiful example of how light is supposed to be managed in a photo. It really is magical, illuminating the field and the highlights in the mountain ridge. The bales of hay dotting the field are another important and very attractive element in the photo. Congratulations, a real cracker.

Wow, wow, wow this is very beautiful photo from Colorado. I like these three layers: green field with straw bales in the foreground, forest in the middle and snowy Rocky in the background.
Great quality photo as also colors, light and sharpness.

splendido panorama, tre strisce di colore ben inquadrate e composte, la striscia scura divide perfettamente le montagne candide dalla prateria coltivata.
Un paesaggio che non sono abituato a vedere, immagino che dal vivo sia ancor piщ bello per le dimensioni difficili da percepire tramite una foto, anche se molto bella.

I love this. Makes me wish I lived in Colorado. The light on the hills and the foreground is beautiful, combined with those rugged, snowy peaks.
