Photographer's Note
Stairwell at Vizcaya Museum. The former winter residence of agricultural industrialist James Deering. His European inspired mansion features 34 lavishly furnished rooms overlooking Miami's Biscayne Bay. I took lots of shots of the extensive gardens, but this stairwell tickled my sense of design and geometry. The stairwell was very dark, so I had to use flash and did some pp to correct for the shadows. Difficult to get an angle with a tripod, so flash let me use a high shutter speed to avoid camera shake.

Hello Eva,
you are my neighbour in the TE-Gallery today!
Stairs are one of my favourite themes, and this one is quite pretty. A pity you had to use flashlight, I know that the Sony you are using is not very good with high ASA-settings, ( I have got this model, too) and maybe 1600 ASA would not have been enough anyway.

Allô Eva!
Très jolie spirale parfaitement captée en plongée. Bel effet de couleurs qui partent du plus pale au plus foncé pour finir avec un point rouge. Belle présentation.
