Photographer's Note
This rock intrigued me when I came across it at Mirror Lake in Yosemite National Park. The geometric shapes and the colors are so dramatic. Then, in the early morning light when the reflections are so strong, the shape and lines were a challenge to photograph.
I added heavy contrast to emphasize the geometric properties in the rock.

Hi Karen,
this rock in the middle of the lake is a bit mysterious, indeed, though it offers us a good graphism because of its multiple faces illuminated by the Sun, which increase its geometrical power.
The reflections on the crystalline water of the lake are a very important element in the composition, because they add a good aesthetic level to this beautiful image.
Well done.
Best regards,
Josep
