Photographer's Note

Biscayne Bay (Bahнa Vizcaнna, in Spanish) is a lagoon that is approximately 35 miles (56 km) long and up to 8 miles (13 km) wide located on the Atlantic coast of south Florida. The bay is also home to Florida International University's Biscayne Bay Campus in North Miami and the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science in Virginia Key.
This photo of the sunset at Biscayne Bay I took from west side Miami Beach.

Ziggy,

As you can see from some of my photos here, I am a huge fan of sunset pics.....and I love this one,even tho there is considerable noise on the lower half. It gives me a sense of peace and quiet.....just what I needed. Thanks for that, and given that the temps here are about -10F at the moment and dropping fast, this photo makes me feel warm, also.

Hi Ziggy, you've timed this one well. I like how the artificial light complements the last light of day - it adds a special atmosphere. Great sharpness and mellow reflections are other attractive qualities in this image. Good work!

Bonjour, cher Ziggy,
La lumiиre faibli, l'йclairage public s'allume, le soleil s'est couchй et la tranquillitй s'installe dans le port. J'aime l'illumination des grandes grues au loin.
Une belle photo de coucher de soleil.

I like the soft tones in the sky and water. It looks like there is some noise in the lower left of this image where it is dark. Nicely done.
