This is the Pali Lookout on Oahu. Kamehameha conquered Oahu on these cliffs. Legend has it that Kamehameha's warriors cornered Oahu's warriors on the cliffs. Rather than surrendering, the local warriors leapt to their deaths.

Nice image from the lookout. There is often cloud over the mountains which can make getting a decent image difficult. This has the added drama of the clouds spilling over the mountain tops, the rainbow AND the patch of sunlight. I think the muted colours and the softness of the image work well here.
