Photographer's Note
Hello all,
the Last Dollar Ranch is an expansive country ranch that lies along country road 58 near Ridgeway, Colorado. This country road is an alternate route to Telluride from the more often used scenic byway 62. there are beautiful ranches along this road. It was a clear lovely day when we took photos. No clouds at all.
Please enjoy my photo...

Hello Karen,
Beautiful ranch in such beautiful setting of snowy peak and rolling hills full of pines and some aspen that is about to turn colors. In your note, you mention Colorado, which I thought this maybe, but on the location it say California.
this reminded my of my last trip in Colorado, this open ranch with so much nature and open space. If I even have to move away from CA, I would like it to be in Colorado.

Ciao Karen
Ciao e buon fine settimana

Howdy Karen,
Not only interesting for the dramatic Rocky Mountain scenery, but also the zig zag wood post fence which was predominantly replaced in the West by barb wire, and the scourge of the 'free range' cattlemen.
Well done,
Cheers,
Ray

Hello Karen,
I enjoy the way that you have placed the zig zag fence in the FG so that its shape is repeated in the distant snow covered mountains,it`s a nice thoughtful touch to a well exposed and exceptionally clear photograph.
Well done indeed.
Kind regards Les.

Hi Karen: I love this type of split rail fencing. It makes a great foreground for some pretty incredible scenery. Looking at the thumbnail it kind of looks like you were in the Tetons but you obviously were not. The trees are just starting to turn color, a nice way to break up the green in the trees.
