Photographer's Note
Here's a late fall photo of a skater in Denver that I took several years back. I panned using a film camera back then, probably at about 1/8 or 1/15 sec. I'd like to have the skater a little more crisp, but using film without the benefit of digital preview means you just shoot, try different settings and hope something turns out. The concept of speed and motion is the thing here. And the background, with the golden leaves, lake, blue sky and dark pavement, all work together I think.

Hi Ted. I can't believe 120 people have looked and left without a comment or a point. This is a great shot. I love the colour and movement - a real sense of speed. Nothing not to like in my opinion. Kind regards, Paul.
