This is the foot of the Golden Gate under minor repair, w/c is not gold in color btw, and neither is it a gate, hehe. Working as a structural engr for many years, construction sites fascinate me still, so i just had to capture this too. :)

Hi Lilli,
I can see why this composition would fascinate a structural engineer. Interesting detail in the scaffolding and the red support members of the bridge. The red contrasts nicely with the blue of the sky and the bay. Amazingly sunny day, much nicer than the last time I sailed under the GG bridge. Is that a submarine in the background?
