I didn't meet the TE members at Mono Lake, so we drove to Yosemite with Tioga Pass. This is one of the pond along the highway. There were so many little ponds along this route. This image was shot with IR filter and convert to Black and white

Hi phuoc,
That fallen tree in the foreground and the branches of the pine above frame this mountain pond perfectly. The detail is impeccable, especially in those little blades of grass and the evergreen needles.

You were quite a bit ahead of us. We weren't on Tioga pass until several hours later. I think we were at breakfast in Lee Vining when you were shooting this.

Phuoc, a typical IR image. I always like to see this type of images. The erie look is quite intriguing. Good composition with balanced elements in the foreground and background.
I don't know if you realized, but Pat is including your shots in our TE meeting file. So you didn't meet us physically but intentionally you were part of it!

I went thru pages of photos of Yosemite, and it's the B&Ws that catch my eyes and capture me.
This isn't simply a B&W, but with infra red, which makes it so much more interesting as if it were snowing. It looks like it came out of a movie. Ansel Adams might have to run for his money. :-)
