Photographer's Note
This is another composite of 4 pictures of the bridge pylon carrying the cables supporting the bridge, taken from 4 different points of view. The pylon is made of structural steel, cladded with white steel panels. For more descriptions and pictures click on photo210145 and photo209682

hi andre, this is an amazing combination of 4 different quality pictures; athough i can understand the reasons for such a composite post i find the picture so good that they should be displayed separately in order to value all the details; anyhow - brave of you, and splendid pictures; i like b&w choice here;
have a nice we, jerzy

This is a really good abstract combination and the conversion to b&w looks very good to me. I am not an abstract shooter, so I don't have much to suggest, but this one looks really good to me. The only small thing that I notice is that the one on the top right seems to have a different tone as compared to the other frames. Maybe the light was hitting it at a different angle. Good stuff.

Hello Andre, this one is also very successful. Marvellous design, good composition, very good PoV all throughout! Many congratulations!

I think this is my favorite of the montages. The play with the shapes is excellent as in the other but the cables make so much more interest in this. And not only that but their shadows in some of them. Each one offers its own uniqueness again. The top right and bottom left are both my favorites, I'd say. The curving form and lines of the cables in the lower left is sweeping and melodic. And that musical feel is in the upper right one, also, looking almost guitar like. And again it was an excellent choice to go black and white for these to give it that real graphic look. Excellent jobs on these four.

This is a special kind of image that I very much appreciate with the wonderful curves angles and lines. The play of light and shadow is a fine element of the series as well. Being the perfectionist I am, I'd like the four squares to be precisely equal in dimensions and alignment. If you're working in Photoshop you may wish to take advantage of the guides available. With a series of vertical and horizontal guides in place it becomes easier to use the free transform tool to size the various elements. I mention this in part because of your technical background in architecture. The guides are used by folks preparing images for publication. They are invisible in printing and are easily removed once the process is completed. You might wish to check it out. This feature appears in the View menu collection.
Wonderful photos Andre. I'd love to climb all over that bridge and take photos, but then I'm a former construction inspector myself... ;-)

The bottom left image is my favorite, I love the combo of the curved surface intertwined with the linear shadows. The compositional idea of combining the four photos into a single image also works well. Keep up the good work.

All your angles and 4 post per photo are amazing. I've been to Redding many times and never knew this bridge was there. Thanks so much, great to two over the age of 50, enjoying a beautiful hobby..cheers
