I shot this in around 2 in the morning. I was tring to get a good shot of Mars that night with the 600mm with a 2X converter. Lets just say I got a better shot of the Moon that night.I sharpened and adjusted the levels a little.

Sweet picture. It is so nice, when you can see somethink, what everubody see from all different places onm the world. Sweet colors and nice focuse. Check out my moon, meybw you will like it

Brilliant photo. So crisp and clear. Always wonderful to see good moon shots. I think I need more practice with mine.

Very nice one. By lookin photos of the moon i relized that it is a lot easier to get a good photo of it when its not full, because the shadows of the crates show more detail that the bright light of full moon with no shadows.
I've taken one at half moon with 300mm lens and its pretty good.
