Photographer's Note
Rattlers always get my heart moving. This one was near the path I was hiking and we came to an agreement ... I would take a couple of photos and then walk, slowly, past him on the far side of the trail.
The image was cropped, made less bright (the desert sun after an hour bleaches everything), contrast increased and Paint Shop Pro's sharpen mask used.
