Photographer's Note

Based on the critiques recieved, I've gone back and reworked this photo from the raw data. I used less contrast this time to maximize the amount of detail, used more sharpening to try and improve the sharpness and rotated the image to fix the horizon that was tilted in the original.

So... What do you think.. any better?
This isn't the best image I've posted by a long shot, nor would I normally want to post one as unclear as this, but as an addition to my travelogue, I hope it will suffice.

Taking pictures of Humpback whales is a difficult objective. Niether do they perform on cue, nor do they care about marks. I burned dozens of frames attempting to catch a breach, such as this, and this is the best I could get.
