Beautiful night for aurora chasing. A minor CME brought a wonderful show to interior Alaska. This was taken with a fish eye lens, hence the distortion in the trees.

Howdy Eric,

Fine view of the Aurora from the dark snow road with the forest silhouette and the star background. A sight I have always wanted to vision in person, but never have. And I have read that Fairbanks is a good place to witness the Northern Lights.
