Photographer's Note

CHARLESTON is the oldest and largest city in South Carolina. It is a city with a rich history and one of the main attractions in South Carolina. It is often visited together with and compared to Savannah, which is just across the border south in Georgia. There seems to be quite a competition between the two, as to which city is the best. Charleston has more of a big city feel to it, while Savannah is smaller and a bit more quaint, perhaps. But we liked both.

Hi Benny

The shadows of the window sill and protruding brick ledge act as underscores to the green shuttered window. Good sharpness and the arched red brick entrance nicely frames the fire trucks. Tfs!

Hi Benny,
Carefully framed view of this old fire station and a modern fire truck peeking out of the opening. I like classic brick architecture and that text above the arch looks great.

Nice piece of social history recorded here. It's so important to record these old buildings before they disappear. I like the shapes, strong lines, detail of the bricks and bold contrasting colours. Thats really cool shot, Congrats
