Shot taken in Huntersville North Carolina, at a community pool..
Kids drop food of all kind, and of course ants are here to clean up. But what made me laugh was that it made me think of us (humans) after whale hunting which of course I don't approve..lol
And just watching those ants working on it, amazed me. Such a small scale, and so much drama for a cracker. It looked like the ants went fishing in the pool, and the eye of the gold fish is livid...I couldn't find their fishing boat.lol
And no .. no drugs involved..;)
Anyway, I added green on the floor , for the drama and also make the red of the goldfish pop up a bit more, without saturating all the colours.

Very original. I like the narrow depth of field, the lighting, and size of the goldfish compared with the ants. I didn't notice the post-processing you mentioned. I think it works quite well.

Your shot proves that there are pictures every where. Even with your narrow DOF and shutter speed some of the ants should be in sharp focus. You might add some sharpening in photoshop.

An ordinary daily scene, but very well captured. I can almost feel the ants at work. Well done.
