Photographer's Note

There's beauty and grace in old age.

Car wrecks exposed to the elements take on a second life as art objects in southern gardens and fields. This one, one of many, was spotted on the road in northern Georgia.

In case you're wondering why on earth we were travelling there. Our main reasons for visiting this area were:
- visiting the grave of Blind Willie McTell,
- visiting the birthplace of Oliver Hardy and
- just enjoying the beauty of the ride.

We happened to pass this place while looking for Blind Willie's grave. It's in the middle of nowhere, really.

PS: I had a bit of trouble making up my mind in which TE category to post this one. Transportation!? Not really. Artwork, then? Perhaps. Why not?
