These little frogs come in a wide range of color, some are darker. This one is the prettiest specimen ever to visit the pond in My garden. This is a macro shot, using a 2x TC, from about 18 or 20 inches away. I get better DOF this way than by trying to get closer, although the frogs are easy to approach if You move slowly.

SURE. the DOF is just right, and thats a good trick to learn,

The reflection of flash in the eyes of the frog is quite interesting. I wonder if that blue circle under the eye inflates to make a baloon sometimes !!
