Photographer's Note

Taking images at the beach can have a limited window for light as well as subject matter. Sometimes it is right there in your face. Just look through natures curtain. Of sea oats. These plants help in the prevention of sea erosion. Hurricanes can devastate beaches. Here in Florida...beaches are our income. The tourism dollar is number one.

Hello Jimmy,

This is such a simple subject and yet when photographed, like this, from an angle which silhouettes the grasses against the rainbow colours of the sky, it is beautiful!
This is a lovely, artistic photograph.

Hi Jimmy,
I would not guess that you are from LA.
First: you have no photos from California on TE.
Second: The highest number of photos in your gallery are from Florida.
California is my favourite place of all, but at the same time choosing a destination for a trip with my little daughter I went for Florida two years ago.
I considered this beach as well. It has such an aromatic name.
Lovely late evening composition with the silhouettes of grasses set against the extraordinary sky.
