Photographer's Note
I spotted this row of motorcycles in Cedar Key, Florida. This small fishing community is on the Gulf Coast of Florida, a hundred miles or so north of St. Petersburg, toward the Panhandle area of the state. The village reminded me of a smaller Key West...the architecture and "feel" of the town was similar, with antique shops, eclectic gift shops, beachware vendors and unique restaurants and pubs, just on a smaller scale. My wife and I spent the July 4th holiday exploring the town and surrounding areas. When I snapped this photo, the sky was quite overcast and within a few minutes the rain rolled in and cut our day short.

The lines and textures are engaging - they keep the viewer looking just a bit longer. There is almost an invitation to step in, and see what those bike riders are up to. B&W a very good choice, as it emphasizes the composition.

I love the feeling and style in this photo. It makes me want to keep looking at it for a long time. The clarity is great as well - it really brings out some of the differing textures. Splendid photo!

Gorgeous display - the lines and repetitions and the whole scene. Great picture, very representative.
