Photographer's Note
The ride called the Yoyo at the Champlain Valley Fair. I call it, The Spinner, as it spins you around like a top. I took a closeup picture earlier in the day when it was bright of people spinning around on this ride. I might post it a a workshop or do another posting of it at another time.

Nicely done! Having been on these things - and hated them - this image brings back the spinning, sickly feeling very well!
The level of blur is, I think, perfect - with the lighting clear and crisp.
A fun picture, well executed!

I think it is pretty good Harjit ... the evening exposure is nice and the colours are good. I can think of a few possible improvements that would include either A) getting a little wider to show the whole ride instead of cutting off the little bit at either end....maybe waiting until it did that dramatic tilt
or
B) letting it tilt and then going in closer framing the centre post and a semicircle of riders against the darkening sky....sort of the classic shot for this fairground ride though..at least yours is different
Cheers

Hello there ... and what a cool picture. Seems like tons of fun. As a Vermont fan I have of course to say a word to your picture. No doubt. Lovely the evening sky and together with the lights it makes it a perfect match.

Hi Harjit. Lovely capture. I love the way the Yoyo is set against the evening sky and the blurred riders add a dynamic touch. Well spotted and thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Hi Harjit, I really like your funfair series. This one, like the others, is very atmospheric because of thedramatic light and the great sense of movement. I would have preferred if the figure on the left hadn't been cut off, but I still think it's a great shot. Regards,
Ryno
