Crystal Delight, a photo from Vermont, Northeast

Photographer's Note

The Champlain Valley Fair has several buildings which houses exhibitions, vendors, art, handicrafts, specialty foods, and so on. This picture was taken in one of those buildings. At this kiosk, there were rings, necklaces, and other jewellery, and most of them were made with crystals (I think!). Not sure if they were real or fake but I was quite intrigued by the crystal thingys hanging on display, that I had to take the picture.
I like how the light bounces on the crystals and on the hair. After taking a few pictures, the vendor told me that I shouldn't take anymore pictures! And I went....."Yeah, whatever!!"

Hi Harjit,
This is an intriguing and different shot, the lighting is good. I love crystals; capturing the lady in the shot added a lot of interest. Nice idea. You think the vendor would feel honoured that you thought his wares were worth taking a photo of wouldn't you? Thanks for sharing.

I like the subject of this photo! The necklaces hanging at different lengths, and with different-colored crystals, really capture my eye. It is also nice that there is a woman looking at the merchandise to add a human touch to the shot.

Your picture give me the impression that the hanging things are what this "anonyme" has in mind... the blink, attracting and hypnotic things for her.
