Ban Komaen - Hills and tea plantations

Back to Laos, the country that leaves me with the best memories of all countries I visited during my longer journey. Also the country where I stayed the longest: 40 days (with a regular one-month visa and a super easy and fast extension of ten days).

Laos was the most unspoiled country of my entire trip and the north of the country is the least visited of all.
On the other hand, you also have the town of Luang Prabang in Central Laos, which has become one of the most popular places in Southeast Asia. Beautiful but super touristy.

The photos of today show the hills near the village of Ban Komaen (Phongsaly region) where there are many tea plantations.
A pity, but it wasnt the picking season when I was there.
