Photographer's Note
Sumidero Canyon is a deep natural canyon located just north of the city of Chiapa de Corzo, in southern Mexico. It was created by a crack in the area's crust and subsequent erosion by the Grijalva River, which still runs through it.
It has vertical walls which reach as high as 1000 metres, with the river turning up to 90 degrees during the 13-kilometre length of the narrow passage.
The canyon is surrounded by the Sumidero Canyon National Park.

Bonjour, cher Pedro,
Voilà une composition qui donne le vertige par sa beauté d'une part et de sa dimension d'autre part.
Euh, cela fait un peu haut pour moi !
L'ivresse des hauteurs à travers cette prise de vue.
Amitiés.

hello Pedro, Beautiful view of this canyon from above. The water has a fantastic colour, the rocks are very high. I went by boat there. The views from the lower points, upwards, were also fantastic.
Best regards MAlgo

Hello Pedro,
I've never seen this view but 30 years ago I made a boat trip on this river.
So I only saw the landscape from at the water level.
A pity that I didn't went up the steep hills (I didn't know it was possible).
The view is superb! Beautiful light and colours.
Best regards, Paul

Good sharpness and a superb elevated lookout point offering a panoramic view of this spectacular canyon. The river adds linear perspective. Tfs!
