Photographer's Note
On the Mayan archaeological site of Tulum, here are two views of the Temple of the Frescoes. Frescoes were drawn by Mayan artists but they are protected inside the monument, only these "red hands" can be observed by visitors.
Drawings and also sculptures. At each corner of this temple portraits have been carved, a profile on each side which forms a face in its entirety while giving a beautiful perspective effect (WS)

Hello Jean,
Interesting details from the temple. I would have preferred the WS as main photo, because we get a better idea of the carvings' location on the wall. Likewise your chosen main photo could have been shown as two separate photos.

Bonjour Jean,
Un pan the l'histoire qui s'affiche en face du photographe. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de la fresque et des sculptures. La lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hi Jean
Hands used to be popular for wall painting, including here in Australia. The hands stand out well in the photo next to the well worn sculptures. Very interesting photos. Good WS.
cheers

Bonjour Jean,
Great series showing us the decorative elements of this ancient culture. The red hands would make me rather think they are more recent decorations made by tourists :)
Very well done,
M
