ÔÎÒÎÃÐÀÔÈÈ

After the visit to the Zoque mural at the Malpaso Dam, it was time to return to Tuxtla Gutierrez. Octavio had readily located the multi-lane highway that would take us there quickly. This route south passes over the lengthy Puente Abel Carreño. He caught sight of the reservoir formed by the dam in the Grijalva River and wanted to make a stop - #7 on La Ruta Zoque. I exited the car along with him when he parked and captured this photograph looking west - in beautiful Chiapas. We made it back to my hotel at 16:50 hours - a very full day of experiences indeed! Total distance travelled - 205 kilometres.
