Iguana verde, a photo from Jalisco, Pacific Coast

Photographer's Note

Here is a Green Iguana, one of many I encountered at the seaport. They come in a variety of shades ranging from grey/green to bronze or even brown/orange. Tails of both males and females are banded with light and dark thick rings. They can be found from Mexico to Brazil, Paraguay and the Caribbean Islands, but have also been introduced in parts of Florida. They spend up to 98% of their time quietly perched on a tree branch. This one crossed my way all of sudden near a parking lot, it is an adult full-size female. Dozens of them I could watch resting on the surrounding trees and rocks.

always impressive these iguanas like a prehistoric animals, good management for the light capture between rays of light and shades, green iguana and blue mood with colors of boats in the BG, tfs.

Cela doit surprendre lorsqu'on arrive face а face avec cette immense bestiole qui doit surement кtre la mascotte de la marina. En plus, il prend la pose.
