Photographer's Note
Just after we left Chinatown and arrived in Rene Levesque Avenue our group met new protesters, these one very different from the previous ones we had encountered( see yesterday's post ). It was a protest against the ocuppation of Palestine. The 2 widows came in the frOnt and they had a dramatic feeling carring the brush (any light on the mening of this tree will be apreciated...). Our group photographed and observed the protesters and shared in a very respectful way our thoughts regarding to it.
Picture was converted to B&W, hre bushes were quite overexposed due to the strong sun, but I felt that somehow it add to the drama... Picture was reframed.

Flavia,
I like your black and white conversion. It does give it the heavy drama feeling and a sense of sorrow. Nicely filled in the frame.

hello Flavia.
I think your right about the atmosphere added by the bushes...almost like they are burning. This brightness also adds wonderful contrast against their black mourning veils. Quite respectful. I also like how we just catch a glimpse of their faces...well done.
Regards,
Chris.

Hi Flavia.
The sensation created in this frame should be adored. You have established the feelings of the people , well within this image. The sunlight which is overexposed highlights the issue... well done..!!!
Look at their eyes, so sensitive, concentrated, and the power emerging from it is a great capture.
CONGRATS, for this heartfelt share.
My wishes to them, and to you, dear friend.

Hi Flavia, this is very much a photojournalists shot. Good B&W conversion. Shame about the over exposure. Excellent composition. Regards, Roberto

Flavia, this is a very strong photography. The expression and meaning is schocking! You got exactly what it should be and I have the impression that the overexposed bushes pertain to that. The strong contrast between the black veils and the bushes works perfect. Congratulations on this perfect journalistic shot!

Carlos

Linda foto Flávia. Gosto do contraste dos véus negros e do arbusto brilhante a frente! Bom enquadramento e ótima escolha pelo B&B.

What a creepy title and a composition, wow Flavia, I love photos that can whip up some feelings in me like this one. B&w is the best choice here since the black represents sorrow in our worlds. A great one.
Greetings from Gordana
