The Caricature, a photo from Quebec, Central

Photographer's Note

The short story to this is that I was watching a sidewalk performer in Old Montreal, you know the kind that juggle balls, swallow swords, eat fireballs, talk vulgar, and think they are funny with their knock-knock jokes. But, I decided to look for some excitement elsewhere and started to scan the crowd when I noticed this woman standing next to the caricature stand. So, since she was more interesting than the dude with the swords, I captured this shot!

Hi Harjit,

Who is the caricature? :)
I see we both got bored with the show and decided to go around. Maybe she is the girl that appears side to side with the guy being draw in my today's picture? Putting a start on the guessings... Nice capture, well framed and composed, DOF also good. I would just had cloned the methalic part on the botton which is a little distracting.

Thank you so much to promote Montreal the way you do! This is worth much more than any ad campaigns... Everywhere I go, people are talking about girls from Montreal, but I don’t noticed them anymore, since I’m living here forever. But seeing this through your lens, is a reminder that I should go out more often...

I think that you’re clever than you try to show in your note, and it’s not a coincidence that we can see this woman’s "features" next to the boxing gloves from the caricaturist...

hello harjit,
man .. seems like I am going to miss the Quebec summers, oh well atleast i had a good taste of it before leaving.
neways... the news on my front is that tomorrow (31 July) I intend to drive from Toronto to Boston via Kingston (1000 islands area), but I want to take small roads, especially if possible through the Adirondack park, any recommendations for me?
