Photographer's Note

Situated where the St Lawrence River merges into the Gulf of St Lawrence, scenic Pointe-des-Monts, has not changed since the nineteenth century.

Mind you, there's not a lot to change - all that stands on this rocky outcrop is Quebec's second oldest lighthouse dating from 1830 and a small missionary chapel built in 1898.
