Photographer's Note
Lake Cabot, Quebec.
Another one of my photos from my recent camping trip at Parc Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. I woke up at 5:20AM and took this picture 10 minutes later. The lake is calm like a mirror and the fog is heavy. It's already quite bright out at this time and the sun starts to chip away at the fog by 6:30AM.
I didn't have my Nikon D50 with me as it was in another room and I didn't want to wake some folks up.

Salut Harjit,
L'immensité bleue ...
Bravo pour cette photo qui me fait penser à un tableau ....
Bonne idée l'ouverture à 2.8 pour eviter de voir les details du fond ...
Bravo

Hi Harjit. Nice minimalist composition. The boat and jetty anchor the faint images in the fog. Well spotted and well captured. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

The picture is well composed and the colors add a mystic look. Only distraction is the wooden plank at the bottom. Minus that the picture is very good.

Hi Harjit, I like your two photos of the lake - interesting to compare. This one I find striking, somewhat dreamy, because of the overwhelming hues of blue. The mood is very different from 'Smoky Lake' - probably b/c of a filter? I would've liked to see more of the second rowboat, though. Otherwise, a fine shot.
