Very very well done Pamela!! The hard crop, short DOF and then the snow on the eyelashes - WOW! I think her cap got a bit twisted in the process too as it is so low on her forehead.

Now that's a real eye catcher in more ways than one :-)Fortunately the tuque seems to have taken most of the blow.Creative cropping has made this a great composition Pamela with colour harmony between the tuque and eye.

I really like the compliment of the eye and the hat. I think it could be improved by cropping just a bit more from the left side. Since the lighting is very even on her face there is not much of a shadow between the corner of her eye and the bridge of her nose so it almost gives the impression of looking at someone with a chromosome disorder (granted a very beautiful one) but nevertheless the flatness of this part is distracting.

Wow, this is just plain great, Pamela. I guess that's about as stylish as a shot after a snowball fight can get. Spectacularly cropped, and I can't believe how crisp and clear those snow crystals on the eyelashes and the blue cap are. The small drops of water on her face are another neat detail. Very well done. Added favorite.

An incredibly bold and powerful shot! And the note makes it so much more interesting knowing that the snow on the eyelid comes from a snowball. It's so crisp, it's amazing how you got in there at the right moment.

Baby blue ice.I can't get better than this. Pretty obvious you have the eye for photography and the knowing how to use the tool, to enhance it.

I feel cold just looking at this shot. The framing is wonderful and the colors enchance the idea behind the shot. What I'm thinking to myself is: what if you used nice slide film for this shot (eg Provia or Velvia) to pop the colors even more instead of normal print film. Anyway, just my mind thinking too much here. Wonderful, truly wonderful shot. Reminds me of winters in Canada when I was younger.

Close crop on the eye and the triangle made by the line of the hat add dramatic effect. The beautiful blue colour of the eye and hat complement the white of the snow perfectly. The excellent sharpness and the wonderful pure skin tone complete the scene and makes for a memorable image.

This is stunning. The detail -- the snow on her eyelashes is what sets this photo apart from other winter closeups. You categorized it as humorous, but I can see this as a serious ad for makeup or contact lenses or something liek that. Great job!

This is one of those photos that I see every now & again but never get around to looking at properly. Well, the detail is incredible & the clarity is superb - just look at her eye, it's so clear & sharp!

Et bien je suis bluffé par la composition de la photo ! Pas évident de garder l'oeil ouvert et d'aller poser ces cristaux de glace. La luminosité et la couleur, le contraste enfin tout est parfait et il n'y a rien à redire, sauf continuer à nous faire profiter de belles images comme celle ci, sortant de l'ordinaire.
