Photographer's Note
Manning Provincial Park in British Columbia is near the border with Washington state, USA. Several walking tracks take you up into the subalpine meadows. This photo was taken from the subalpine zone, looking south into the snow-capped mountains of Washington. The yellow flowers are glacier lilies, which bloom just after the snow melts.
