Photographer's Note

This photo was inspired by Jean Michel Peers (Ornis) and his birthday cake photo. I've been thinking for a while about what kind of photo I could post for the holidays, and this is what I've come up with.

I would like to wish everybody on TE all the best for the holidays. Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. (a whole year more to take photos!) Yahooooooo!!!

**I would also like to add that this site has been such a great inspiration in many ways than I thought possible. Thanks to all the members!

A very nice idea, Pam, and beautifully done. With the fireplace, the candle, the Christmas mug, the hand-written note, and - yum - the cookies. There might be none left for me, though, as all the previous critiquers already took one :-O

Just discovering this one, Pamela. Thanks for credit. Due to delay, I wish you, a bit in advance, very good... summer holidays.
About shot: I like the table setup and the fire place. Nice way to express your wishes too. Not sure about the overexposed and blurred foreground. Arranging it close to a window, just using daylight could have brought more intimacy to your shot.
