Icebergs, Angel's lake, Angel's glacier in Jasper national park, Alberta, Canada.
It was very hot that day when we reached this lake, temperature jumped to +35 and it was high in Rocky mountains. Upon arrival I could not believe my eyes - real icebergs were floating on the water surface of this lake, and it was with +35. Water was icy cold, one cannot keep hands for even 10 seconds. We were not advised to go close to the shore of this lake as the icefield melts from warm temperature and large pieces of ice can slide into the lake, creating quite high wave that hit the shore in no time. Unfortunately, there were a few incidents like that and people were killed by such waves, not being able to escape such a natural phenomenon to the safe place, it happens very fast and low temperature contributed to tragedies.

Hello Mike,

I would now can use a little bit ice, it is now 36.5° Celsius when I writes the critique.
A lovely nature picture with the ice and forest if contrast.
An excellent composition and pleasant presentation.

Fantastique vue quel glacier en fond et le rendu bleu clair sur cette glace et quel petit lac avec les morceaux de glace qui flotte de mini iceberg et l'eua la roche quel dйcor de rкve.

Bonjour Mike,

C'est beau cette image de glace au mois d'aoыt. Beau point de vue bas qui donne de la profondeur. J'aime la couleur de l'eau d'un beau vert aqua. Belle nettetй d'ensemble.

What a great photo of this lake, the icebergs and the rough rocks in the background and the small waterfalls. The reflections look very nice too. Must be a great place to visit.

Hello Mike,
Global warming is a danger for ice and icebergs all over.
Yet, cold water in a 35 degrees environment made a unique situation which you beautifully taken advantage about it.
Fine photo, water colors contrasting the brown rocks, just unusual for me. We do not see this in Israel.
