Il faut dire que la beauté de ce lac entouré de pics calcaires et de forêts profondes est fascinante . La netteté et la profondeur de champ sont admirables .

Jean,
This place is amazing and you have captured it beautifully. The yellow canoe adds a nice focal point for the shot as well as creating a sense of motion. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has outstanding sharpness and DOF.

Hi Jean
i know this area very well, its my back country home :)
The large trees peeking up into the bottom area are a welcome addition, creating that barrier of seperation of a fg/bg.
its always difficult to manage the light here, very well executed.

Congratulations Jean - 900 posts that is some clicking! A beautiful shot to commemorate the occasion too. Pristine wilderness with magnificent detail so expertly captured. This reminds me of wonderful holidays in Alberta. You have captured the colour perfectly. The soaring mountains are so majestic towering above the pristine wilderness. Well done for getting the boat in the picture and showing the scale of the landscape.

Et bien que ce soit une photo de 2007, elle est fantastique, a une grande netteté, une bonne lumière et des couleurs magnifiques.
Et naturellement, un cadrage très efficace pour nous montrer la beauté impressionnante du lac et des Rocky Mountains.

Tout d'abord mes félicitations pour ce respectable parcours! J'en suis encore bien loin avec mes 40 photos :-)

Oui on se demande comment cette image n'ait pas encore eu sa place sur TE car elle est vraiment splendide. Le paysage sauvage, une foret arrivant jusqu'au bord de l'eau et surtout une formidable et imposante chaîne montagneuse aux falaises impressionnante, c'est superbe.

L'endroit est effectivement sublime. Tu l'avais caché pour mieux le ressortir en cette occasion exceptionnelle. 900 superbes photos, un très joli score! Tu ne seras pas loin des 1000 à la fin de l'année.
Une très belle composition qui met en valeur l'environnement montagneux et la beauté des eaux du lac.

Congratulations on your 900th photo on TE. It's a great achievement.
The view above is truly stunning. The surface of the mountains, the color of the lake. The amount of details compacted in this photo is outstanding, yet the image is not at all busy. On the contrary,If I must describe this image with one simple word, It's "space", a great expanse of space. The few trees in the most foreground is very effective in creating a space surrounding the lake. it is a truly fine photograph, my compliments.

congratulations for your 900th photo. This is an achievement by itself.
The photo is spectacular. I am speechless. I like very much the green color of the lake, so unusual so beautiful. The mountains seems so high and shapes again so unique. The forest of sharp trees comes very close to the lake, it touches it Plus you have some of them in the foreground which decorates the view even more.

le lac Moraine qui me fait beaucoup penser à certains lacs valaisans peut-être moins entourés de ces grands conifères. Un rendu parfait des couleurs, un fond d'écran de rêve.

this is a kind of view we think about when someone talks about canada. amazing the repetition of the pine trees in the forest and the intense blue of the lake surrounded by these huge slopes. perfect.
