Photographer's Note
In rural Brampton, just on the outskirts of Toronto, built in 1995, the parish church of St. Elias the Prophet rises high on the Peel Plain above the Credit River Valley. Though this building was built in 1995, the parish community was started in 1976.
A wooden structure of heavy timbers (Douglas Fir), it is sheathed in Western red cedar. It has been constructed according to an architectural style known as “Boyko”, derived from western Ukraine. The cupolas on the church of St. Elias are in the 17th century Cossack style. This photo I took morning when sun was rising up.

Hello Ziggy,
What a beautiful church !
The grey sky is great to make the church more visible.
Greetings.

Hi Ziggy!
I must say ,this is not a perfect exposure and it does not look like Canada, but I like the light here and this wonderful churcharchitecture. These domes looks russian and the wooden construction looks more norwegian. In my Poland gallery I have an image of a Norwegian church.....
Looks like you did some(too much)postprocessing, these clouds look very unatural.
But it`s a good shot in the sense of TE:learning about the world.

Hi Ziggy. Impressive building and the cupola colours are superb.Copper has a lot of character as it oxidizes. The building looks ancient, although it is relatively speaking just a baby. What denomination does it serve-Russian/ \Ukrainian Orthodox or a wider community?Pozdrawiam. Klaudio.

Wow! I am surprised. I would never guess that this is in Canada and especially around Toronto area. This church looks more like few hundred years old, yet its only 12! Red maple contrasting green cupolas. Green cupolas, on the other hand, balancing the picture out with a green grass. Nicely done.

Hi Ziggy,
The beautiful morning light really brings out the rich details to this wonderful red cedar church.
The beautiful eastern architecture stands out brilliantly against the cloudy morning sky.

Hi ziggy,
This is amazing, and only built a few years ago! A very creative architect must have had a field day with this ne. Great light and the background fog and subdued atmosphere is perfect for ths shot. TFs. Gerald

Hi Ziggy,
I've never seen such clouds, and the main subject seems leaning to the left, why?
The color and light on the church in the early morning are very beautiful.

Ziggy, the colors on this one is absolutely awesome, I love it. There does seem to be some noise around the edges but that is unimportant I think, Your timing for the light is also perfect and the clouds make this image very dramatic. Great capture, well seen.

Hi Ziggy
You captured some fine light on this building. The wood shows off its rich tones so well from the rising sun. The sky looks interesting as well and provides an excellent backdrop.

Hi Ziggy,
Your pictures have a special caracter, the colours and light are your mark on them, they look more like a drawing out of a old child book which I like a lot about them. Lovelly church, the foggy bg adds a special atmosphere.
