Photographer's Note

View from the 42thstage of the Empire landmark Hotel. The Landmark is located on one of Vancouver's busiest thoroughfares at 1400 Robson Street, in the West End of downtown Vancouver. Completed in 1973, it stands 120 metres (393.7 feet) tall with 42 storeys. In Vancouver, it is tallest building that is completely devoted to a hotel.

A marvellous sunset, with good colour, lighting & sharpness. Maybe I'd add some magenta to the sky here? A superb high pov, & well composed. Bon Dimanche et amities!

Mangigue vue sur ce coucher de solei. avec ces bвtiment qui se dйtachent dans l'ombre, les couleurs а"la surface de l'eau sont vraiment superbe, comme tout l'ensemble.

j'aime bien comment la ville se dйcoupe sur ces couleurs de coucher de soleil. Belles teintes et bon cadrage de l'ensemble.

Hi Claude,

This is a not a high building even by Canadian standards however the view is beautiful. The colours of the sunset add a stunnning background to the silhouettes of the buildings. Good exposure and details to compose this image. Thanks Claude.

Les toits et les immeubles qui se dйcoupent sur la mer aux couleurs du coucehr de soleil, bien vu !!
Et puis le moment est bien choisi, juste quand le soleil touche la montagne.
