Photographer's Note
A beaver swimming around his natural habitat always looking for something to chew on. They have to chew because their teeth are always growing.
They will make their homes and dams out of sticks and trees, I have seen some trees up to 30 cm. across that have been chewed through
They will take mud and pat it down with their thick flat tail, which is also used for steering while swimming and as an alarm to others when danger is present by slapping it on the water
