Photographer's Note

This scene was found when I ventured off into the woods from a snow shoe trail up Mt Washington. There are a number of places to hike up here, but this scene was only a half a kilometer in front of the Raven Lodge.
I lucked I know on this photo. Mostly because of the lighting and secondly the weather. It snowed the night before and the sun came out the following day. And because Dec is one of the months in the year when the sunlight is at a nice low angle. This photo was taken just after 10 am. I think the polarizer filter helped prevent overexposed pixels and also contributed to the deep blue sky tone. Some of the best photos you will ever capture will be the photos where the lighting makes you say ooooh... aaaahh...That was what I sensed when I saw this.
