Photographer's Note
For many people Christmas may not be what they wished for, or hoped that life at this time of year would bring their dreams come true. For those who aspire to enjoying a better life in the coming year I present this photo of Christmas hope and dreams come true.
Of all the beauty that the eyes of the heart wishes for, and for all the desires that a aspiring heart would like to see, I present this capture of beauty to focus on the joy of living. If there is so much beauty and wonder in this natural world for us to behold and capture as photographers, then there also a beauty in the heart that is filled with love and hope that makes a difference in the lives of those around us.
It is not just what you see in life but how you live that makes a dynamic difference in your life and for those around you. Make a difference in your life for yourself and for others.
Christmas Cheers to All!

Hi Paul,
I haven't seen any snow this winter...so I relish in such a capture, great texture, I like the strong shades and light, the winter blue sky, the house and great note too !

Hi Paul,
a difficult shot. You did a really good job in controlling the dynamic range.
Just my opinion, but I wish that the immediate foreground snow also had some "snow white" parts.

Hello Paul and Merry Christmas,
The lighting in this image on the freground trees is magnificent as they appear as pillars of the winter forest. Beautifully captured moment in the day...
Exceptional note that all could learn and live by without prejudice if we choose to find the nature within us for humanity...

I like dark part on snowy ground with well balanced dark-light areas.

Hello Paul, very dynamic play between the light and shadows as always in your shots, and this one is no exception. The crisp blue sky and fluffy-looking snow banks really make this scene appear as cold as it probably was.

Même si celle-ci me plait un tout petit peu moins que la précédente, elle reste très belle et j'apprécie cette espèce de sculpture de neige que le sapin crée.

Hello Paul,
And Merry Christmas,
Nice to see that you were out early, and I appreciate how you watched for the unspoiled snow, in order to avoid your own foot steps.
Beautiful bright light, almost monochrome except for the blue.

I love the light shining from behind the tree trunk.
I never tire of seeing snow like this, perhaps thats because I'm an aussie, but regardless you have captured this shot with great skill.
Also love the long flowing shadows!
