After Jasper National Park it was, unfortunately, time to start working our way home via Vancouver.
We set off early heading east on the Yellowhead Highway through Mt Robson Provincial Park past more mountains and at times driving beside rivers and lakes. This lake is Moose Lake and perfect in the morning with low clouds.

Atmospheric morning shot!
The composition is excellent with both triangles, the forested hill and the mountain slope further away both with their reflections.
Including some smaller plants in the foreground gives the photo more depth.

Hi Ian,
Lovely landscape and water mirror, so photogenic, I like too the perspective effect. Even the weather wasn't sunny, the photo is beautiful, interesting mood with the scarf of fog on the slope, tfs.

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the trees and of the mountains. I appreciate the effect of the clouds on the scene. Have a nice day.

I like the repeating v shapes on their sides formed by nice reflections, pointing like an arrow to the right. Good sharpness and the fog and mood and atmosphere. Tfs!

What a lovely time to photograph the lake, so that you were able to record the reflections of the rising mist as well as the slope of conifers.
I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like this before! Isn't Nature wonderful, especially when it can be recorded, like this!

Sensational composition with these mountains and the clouds that enter the valley, the perfect reflections in the lake of them make us see the inverted image perfectly.
