Photographer's Note
The view from the Lake Agnes Tea House overlooking Lake Louise. Just peeping over the trees at the centre of the photo you may be able to make out Chateau Lake Louise. The main reason for taking and posting this is to show the effect of the smoke from the forest fires in BC. The mountains in the background are no more than about 15 miles away but are almost completely obscured. Those who know the area will be aware that you can normally see clearly for 10s of miles.

Very good sight, the foreground is very well but I would have to like to see photo A another hour with less sun, the place is powerful.

I would say this is way too good for photojournal point of view. The scenery would take away the effect of the smoke and thinking it was the fog drifting over the tree tops. Viewers would appreciate more of the composition than the smoke's effect. Now imagine without the smoke. Pretty breathe taking don't you think?

Good composition and POV. Your note is useful explaining the smoke in the background. Very natural looking foreground. Well concieved and displayed.
