Gardens, Banff, Alberta, Canada.
These gardens are located in the center of a small but cozy town of Banff. This place is very popular with visitors, travellers, tourists, especially during summer time it is being "flooded" as this place have many beautiful flower beds, nicely formed shrubs, blooming trees and greens. These gardens were designed as an amphitheater with many different layers and each of them has its own height and types of vegetation. Some areas are nicely covered by trees and large shrubs to create a shade where visitors can have a few moments of rest and meditation and relax.
At the back the old style building can be seen. This is where Banff national park administration located. The design was taken from the architectural style of 1800's when Canadian Pacific railway built their stations across Canada and they used this type of architecture throughout.

What a beautiful landscape in such a fine and appealing sunlight, that brings out the well saturated colours really nicely. The mountains provide a great backdrop for the small buildings.

Hello Mike,
I have seen stunning photos from inside the national park, but this place which I suppose is at the entrance to the park is just as beautiful, maybe just slightly less wild. The fine colors and the elegant administrative building also make this photo a pleasure. In the background we get a glimpse of the wilderness awaiting the visitors. It's a superb photo with perfect sharpness and clarity.
