They look an interesting pair of dudes Martin! Nice capture - were they posing for you or unaware?
The guy on the left has a very dark face (though they don't look like winos).

What a wonderful snapdhot!
You really captured a fantastic moment.
THe composition is very goos, althoght the men on the left doesnt seem really old, in my opinion.
Black and white is a very good option i think but if the colours were rich than youi better would have left it.I would have increased the sharpness as well, so that one would be able to see the faces in more detail.

It looks good in B+W. The composition is excellent and although a couple of areas are deeply shadowed and one or two highlights border on blowing out, the tonal range is quite good. A very nice image Martin.

Hi Martin,
This is a lovely natural daily life shot. I like that you have chosen B&W. The men show expressions of boredom, well caught. I like it very much. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Debbie

Allo Martin,

Salut Martin,
Excellent shot, very well seen, a funny moment that you were very well in capturing... the bw is fine, except the white of the shirt is slightly overexposed, as is the hat... but that is a very tricky thing not to do at such circumstances, unless maybe with some fiddling in RAW format? But that is a minor matter, the main thing is that the shot has power and its own sense of beauty.

As far as blowing out the highlights....it is a pretty tough thing to get right and on my screen at least...the highlights look pretty good to me.
It is a nice scene you captured here....but the guy on the left is not that old I don't think.amybe in his 40's.
Great Job.
Aloha, JB
