Photographer's Note
The altar of Notre Dame Basilica in Old Montreal (not to be confused with the lesser known church of the same name in nearby Ottawa). It sits across from Place d'Armes on the corner of St. Sulpice Street.
Inside is very colorful, with practically every hue imaginable represented. Numerous carvings and wooden statues are also contained herein. The stained glass windows depict scenes from the religious history of Montreal, rather than the biblical stories represented in most other churches.
When in Montreal, a visit here is a must.
