Photographer's Note
The Gaspe Peninsula extends into the Gulf of St-Lawrence and is dotted with charming villages all along the coast. It is sparsly populated, making for great relaxing touring. There are numerous, well chosen rest stops along the way, with splendid views. The best time to go is July and August, as June is often rainy and colder weather starts in September. Jacques Cartier first set foot in Canada in 1534 on the Gaspe Peninsula in a town called, you guessed it Gaspe !!

Very nice perspective of this town Richard. Good vantage point to take this picture. I enjoyed reading the note.
I like the sharpness and colours of this composition, specially the colour of the sky in the background.

Bonjour Richard
Excellente photo surtout que tu as pris soin de mettre un peu de verdure à l'avant de la photo. Si au moins, l'on saurait le nom de ce charmant village ?

Very typical canadian lanscape, well caught the contrast between sea, land and houses. Really a nice place to see.
